Finding the right policy or form can be a challenge. This link will take you to the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policies and forms that are available online. These policies and forms are only for those prisoners housed in a federal facility.
State Resources

American Civil Liberties Union: National Prison Project

NAACP Legal Defense Fund
The NAACP Legal Defense Fund works to ensure that our nation’s criminal justice laws are administered fairly and without regard to race. LDF’s criminal justice practice uses litigation, advocacy, and public education to eliminate racial bias in our criminal justice system and addresses the issues of capital punishment, excessive sentences, and police abuse.
The Marshall Project
The Marshall Project is a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization that seeks to create and sustain a sense of national urgency about the U.S. criminal justice system. Their work strives to educate and enlarge the audience of people who care about the state of criminal justice.
JPay
JPay is a way for your family or friends to send you money. It also provides email to prisoners at certain institutions. Check with your institution to verify that email is an option and that JPay is the correct provider.
